Welcome Everyone
This website is all about Peter ‘Stix’ Lockwood and his life, work and love for Leeds United Football Club, which started when he was just eight years old. Thirty-nine managers later and sixty-three years on, a group of good friends and family joined forces and came up with the idea of a website to celebrate both his 70th birthday, and also his long service to Leeds United F.C, the fans and the wider community around it. This has taken longer to create and publish due to the pandemic and the commitments of those of us involved, but in developing it and inviting contributions, we hope to gather and record people’s memories of Stix and his love for all (most!) things LUFC all in one place. He is currently away from work but hopes to return in due course. Until then, we hope that this site, and everyone’s contributions to it so far and in the future, will show just how much both he and his work really are appreciated by the Leeds United family.
We would like you to celebrate, contribute and enjoy all of his positive work with pictures, stories and humour. Wherever you are around the world, please share. From his work within the Community, with the Armed Forces, Local, National and worldwide fan requests, to the Leeds United lottery days, player appearances, ‘Leeds on the Road’, Lorimer’s bar, match day work, his legendary stadium tours and incredible charity work – these are just some of his roles within the club over the years.
Please share anything you like.
MOT, and thank you,
Team Stix
